Description

Condition: This clock has been in storage in Brooklyn for the last 30 years, and got separated from its weights and pendulum (now missing). The movement is especially well made and unique, not of Willard type, but well done. The bottom glass of a shepard in the field has flaking and deterioration. Top finial is absent. Original dish dial and hands. A similar tablet may be seen in Palmer's Treasury of American Clocks, page 30, fig 49. When you figure that a reproduction shelf clock sells for around $3,500, our estimate should be reasonable. Height 34.5 inches
