Description
Condition: Walnut case with candy-stripe columns and mosaic decorations on the top and sides is in very nice condition with original finish. Original dial is very dark from age. Hands and pendulum are original. Catalog shows this model with a dial surround that continues below the dial with decorative elements. This clock has a different base shape and has an original button door latch in the area where the under-dial trim would attach. These design differences from the catalog example might indicate this case was made a little later/?/. In any case, this is the first Empire model we've seen since 1985. Most of the original black-flocked interior paper remains. Height 18 inches
