Description

Condition: Burl veneer case is in very nice condition with an old and possibly original finish. The Carpathian Elm veneer has some very small chips and minor age cracking, but is in otherwise fine condition. The dial is chipped around the winding arbors (chips touched up with blue paint) and in four places on the edge. The gold signature on the dial is half worn and unreadable. Gilt hands are original. Steel work on the pendulum has some surface rust, a solder repair, and the adjusting nut needs replacement. A relatively early and interesting clock that will respond to restoration. Height 16.5 inches
