Description

Condition: Gilt bronze case is in very nice condition with most of the gilding intact. The case was originally mounted on a marble base and there must have been some sort of backdrop behind the swinging doll. The original porcelain dial has some hairline cracks--no chips. Hands are original. Doll figure's gilding is worn off, the pendulum has been shortened and the wire to hold the doll has been replaced. The movement has the patent chaff cutter escapement with 2 escape wheels. The "skeletonized" front plate movement is marked with a logo, and retains original hands. Movement is sound with no apparent damage, and clock will come to life with a base. Ht10.75";
