Description

Condition: Polished brass case in good condition with tarnish and wear to the lacquer finish. Dial with raised numbers is very clean and hands are original. The movement is Swiss made and is stamped "Altair". This timepiece was given as a gift and is engraved on the base: "In Appreciation, The Staff of Samuel Merritt Hospital". Seth Thomas merchandised several Swiss models in the mid 1950 boom years; their name and the origin "Swiss" appear on the clock. Height 6.25 inches
