Description
Condition: well it actually runs. Made from the time train of a Seth Thomas 8-day short drop school clock, with a barrel substituted for the spring, and two cords added with an elaborate pulley system. Dial is from a spring Vienna; weights are lead filled brass balls, maidens from Scarborough brass works in England. It suffers from neglect and could stand a good claiming, but is ticking OK. The synthetic cord is still holding OK, but would suggest re-stringing it. A great curiosity for the collector who has everything. No dome. Height 21 inches
