Description
Condition: some poor repainting on the face and dial of the clock has taken place, however the 12 apostles retain their original paint and decorations (see detail view). Pendulum hanger is off at this point. A calendar movement (original) atop lower movement drives the moon phase (now painted solid blue), and calendar dials, via a contrate wheel off the time train. A monk at top right of clock hits the strike bell. Apostles strike angelus bell as they pass. Needs adjustment; no pendulum nor weights. Although a project, this is certain to attract the guy with some time who like unusual things. Worthy of restoration. Has early tic-tac escapement, spanning 4 teeth. Width 16, height 21"
