Description

Made by the same company that makes the smaller clock that slides down a rack, this has an exposed escapement and a longer duration compound pendulum. The clock is "wound" by pressing the lever on the left side of the case, which raises a weight through a fulcrum with ratchet. Condition: although the "set stem" on the left is no longer functioning, the clock runs robustly and is sure to be of interest to the collector of different items. Patented in UK and foreign countries in 1920-21. Height 10 inches
