Description
Condition: This early 3-train movement with fusee time appears to have been fitted to a later purpose made case to give it a second life, light gilding on that case now worn. The movement probably had a porcelain dial originally, but now has a German acid etched 2-color dial available commercially. The hands are appropriate for the dial. The movement originally had a Viennese lever with solid steel balance, now with an old Swiss replacement. The push button to repeat the strike is absent. Runs and repeats reliably and is quite good looking. Height 7.5 inches
