Description

Black walnut case is 23.5 inches high, very dark, probably was lightly cleaned 50 years ago. Finials are all good and original to this case as is the brass Minerva head on top. The glass is very appropriate but not original, same with the new paper dial on the original pan. Bubba drilled a new hole in the pan rather than put a toothpick in the original hole. Will he never learn? Pendulum, gong, and signed beat scale, are all original. The movement is original and running 8 days and striking a coil gong hours and half hours. Part of a label on the back, just enough to verify the name of the clock. Ly-Ansonia #1778.
