Description
It is generally believed that Seth Thomas introduced this less expensive clock to see if the public would accept them. The Second World War cut their experiment short and they did not attempt it again. This walnut tambour case is 19 inches wide, silver dial with raised brass numerals, slightly wearing. The 8 day movement strikes quarter hours, bim-bam, on 2 rods, running strong. Full label on the back door. NAWCC Bulletin #323, page 805-806.
