Description

Metal cased clock was carried in a black leather cover with a long shoulder strap. As the watchman came to a place in his regular route, he would use a key especially designated for that particular place. He would insert the key into his clock and that would record the time he was at that place. He no doubt had several locations with keys that he was to visit at regular intervals. Management would check his clock after his shift to make sure he was making his regular rounds. There is no key with this clock.
