Description
8 day trapezoid movement is signed, "Marque Deposee Bte Fabrication Francaise". Attaches to slide in seat board. Silver dial is signed, "Boinot Thouars". The walnut case is 36 inches high, 5 finials are great looking, but I believe all new. That is not unusual that finials get separated from the cases when hundreds of them are piled in an ocean container. The clock strikes a long rod on half hours and hours, and repeats a minute or so after each hour. Bowed glass over the dial, old flat glass in the bottom.
