Description

The case designs represent vines and fruit. The 5 inch convex porcelain dial is not signed. You can see a chip at the right winding arbor, there are no hands. The movement is an abortion, 8 day time and strike, typical French round movement that was once in another clock. No gong or gong hammers so the outside count wheel has no purpose in this clock. A platform escapement movement has been added to the back plate time side, and configured to take care of the time side only, and it is running. The round movement is signed, "A.D.Mougin". To operate the clock you will need a pair of hands and attach some kind of hanger.
