Description
Overall in very nice condition, the wood is finished in ebony, with just enough bronze and light colored wood inlays to set it off perfectly. There is wood inlay and stripe inlay, top and base, and ripple like trim on the base and top, and the twisted wood columns with bronze capitals and bases are clean and bright, as is the bronze dial ring and pendulum ring. Excellent porcelain dial and porcelain RA insert. The case is 17.5 inches high, clean all over, a minimum of edge bumps and scrapes. There is no name on the 8 day round French movement that has an out-side count wheel. It strikes a silver bell hours and half hours, and is running and striking just fine.
