Finally a clock that has not been cleaned. This one has the original finish on the black walnut case, now dirty and dark from years of pollution and smoke. On the few places where it was handled a lot you can see what the original finish looked like. 23.5 inch case has the original glass, still very nice; full label on the back; the original paper dial is OK but if you refinish the case you may want to change paper dials. Silver dial rings, silver pendulum. Movement is 8 day, strike and alarm. Strikes a coil gong, alarms on a brass bell. Clock is running very briskly. Ly-Ansonia #1778.
