Description

Rosewood case is 21.5 inches high, gilt all around the molding, top and bottom. Original finish on the very nice looking case. I do notice one tiny veneer chip on one of the octagon corners and a tiny skinned place on another. Hardly worth mentioning. The 8 day movement strikes hours on a coil gong and is geared for a simple calendar. Metal dial is too nice not to have been repainted; however it was many years ago. The clock is running nicely, as is all of this large collection of clocks. Ly-Ansonia #144.
