Description

This model is using an Ansonia 8 day time and strike movement, running exceptionally well, and is striking a nickel bell below the movement. The movement is signed by the maker. This clock with these statues, back brace, movement, pendulum, etc. is pictured on page 95 of Ly-Ansonia. The case is oak, but stained to resemble walnut, and it has been refinished, statues repainted, and a new paper dial installed. The mirror, bezel, pendulum, etc. are original. The dome has bubbles in the glass, fits the base perfectly, and stands 18 inches high. If you want this model with a dirty dial, statues with little original paint, this clock is not for you. It is ready to put in the best room in your house.
