Description
This is a very ornate clock with a plethora of carvings and do dads. 2 of the doodads are missing, the ears on top, but otherwise all there, original, and in very fine condition. The case with correct finials, original dial, pendulum, nickel bell, is extra nice. The dial is about to lose some paint in the center section. Walnut case is 37.5 inches high, has been lightly cleaned of the coal smoke. It is a little dry looking. Whoever cleaned it didn't carry thru. 8 day, striking a cathedral gong. Old putty still around the glass. Ly-Gilbert #361. This model is selling for 1000 dollars and up if it is in nice original condition.
