Description

The case is 42 inches high, made of cherry or maple, cherry stained. Very nice wood-work overall but the lyre midsection and the top ornament were done by an accomplished carver. The glass with some gold leaf is unsigned but of good quality, and the top piece is gold leafed. Bowed glass in the wood bezel. Steel dial was professionally painted and aged. Kilbourne and Proctor 8 day weight movement has good cable to the weight, seemingly it is running, but you should check it good before you hang it permanently. The case is not signed so I can't give credit to anyone for a job well done. It isn't of Cline or Campos quality, but still is a good looking clock.
