Description
Another beautiful case style that may have been a favorite around 1900, because we see this model more often than any other. A large clock standing 14.5 inches high, 13 inches wide. An unusual flame top, two open bridges or arches on top, flame tip on the base, and four feet. Case is cream or off white, decorated with very nice painted flowers all over the front and sides. We like the use of the gold more on this case than most others. It was used sparingly on the base and more liberal on the top. Makes a really good looking clock that fits in most any decor. Movement and everything else is original and typical Ansonia. Ly-Ansonia, page 638.
