Description
Very rare, large, unusual decorated case. The case is signed and marked in every way the German case makers signed them; the red Royal Bonn stamp, the name "La Plata" fired into the case, various numbers and letters meaning some-thing to the case makers. This is a great looking case with ruby, green and blue tints, and the usual gold accents. At the top is a lions head, feet with cherub faces, open loops on the side, and the most rare scene of Holland women on the front. This is a near perfect case, clean inside and out, running, and has all the usual attributes, open escape, 2 piece dial, correct back door, pendulum, and running. Ly-Ansonia, page 605.
