Description

Just as the collector of these Ansonia clocks had the wood clocks refinished, he had this one gold plated. Four beveled plate glasses, one teeny tiny corner chip out of 16 corners, not bad. In fact this clock is awfully nice and it is running. There are some spider webs on the porcelain dial, and a small chip around one arbor. Collectors have a difference of opinion here. I would buy a new 2 piece dial from Timesavers for 33 dollars, others would clean the spider-webs in the ultrasonic, and still others would leave it as is. Your call. All the crystal regulators are 8 day, hour and half hour gong strike. This clock could be a keeper. Ly-Ansonia #360..
