Description
Condition: this clock has been nicely cleaned and the plates polished. The chain has been replaced with gut which works fine. The chapter ring has been nicely resilvered and numerals painted on. Clock is running robustly. As explained in Derek RobertsÕ book on the subject, the simple gothic frames were among the first produced in large quantities as the clock form gained in popularity in mid 19th Century. Height of frame = 11.5Ò; height over all with base and dome 17 inches
