Description

Condition: This clock has a replaced base, made to fit the laboratory bell jar used as a dome. The tuned feet are sunk into the base a half inch, so that overall height does not conflict with the dome. Retains nicely fretted original dial, simple spade hands and original chain. Would benefit from service, but is ticking. For a nearly identical clock, and details on Haycock Ashbourne in Derbyshire, see Royer-CollardÕs skeleton clock book, pages 7 and 58-61. 5 spoke wheels and xlnt quality throughout. Height of clock = 15Ó over all with dome 19 inches
