Description

Condition: This is an interesting clock, a Óone ofÒ individual design so typical of this type of work. The movement is well made with maintaining power and adjustable pallets, with a carved wooden dial. The apprentice has to make each piece of the clock, hence the use of wood for a dial. The case has suffered a few scrapes due to shipping damage, right side glass is broken, but generally very good. Note the pendulum is miniature version of some used in laboratory regulators; with a heavy lead filled bob and a ÓgridÒ consisting of zinc shrouded center shaft, along with brass side rods. Height 46 inches
