Description

Condition: The mahogany case has been nicely refinished and the top trefoil finial newly carved. The original dial has in-painting and the numerals gone over, no signature evident. Both tablets are recent. All the glue and glue blocks are early 19th century, with appropriate age. The movement has been cleaned and strung with brass cable and is running fine. There is an old home-made weight baffle, made of tin can strips, soldered. The weight is old, but has been ground from the front to ease its fall within the case. Height 41inches
