Description
Condition: These rare clocks were apparently a short production run on special order, as we do not find them in the catalogs. Bob Webber has 2 in his collection, and we tended to see them for sale 30 years ago, while currently they seldom turn up. The case houses two movements. The lower is a regular pendulum striking movement that trips a separate movement above that causes the skeleton figure to perform acrobatics. Both movements are assembled from the same New Haven plate blanks, but with different trains. The background paint behind the dial numbers is flaking; other nicks and scrapes commensurate with age. Height 19.5 inches
