Description
Condition: This is a good clock which came to us from storage. It has the proper original movement with detached fusee spring assembly in the base. Retains original green dust paper in the back of the case. There is no label, but that is not uncommon at this time period. .even the example at the American Clock and Watch museum has no label.. The original dial is signed Forestville, Manuf. Co., Bristol, Ct. USA, however it has a light coat of shellac that has turned a bit dark. The tablet is a replacement; the top glass and border are original; door latch original. If this clock had original bottom glass, it would be 25,000 dollars Height 24.5 inches
