Description

Condition: Some clocks in this time period have movements supplied by Edwards brother, Albert, and this is one of those movements, marked A. Howard, Boston. Other than the lower tablet which was replaced in the 1920s (part of a printed card from Fresno, California is still glued to the rear of the tablet). That replacement was necessary when the cord failed and knocked out the bottom and also broke off the lower door, now with a glue repair on the right side (looks OK). Original weight is marked with a 4. Otherwise this a great clock, with super original graining on all surfaces /and original FINISH, great original dial and hands. Tie down is a replacement. Height 32 inches
