Description
Condition: this is an interesting clock, that gives the quarter on 2-notes, 1, 2, and 3, and then strikes the hours on a single bell. The painted dial is original, and with original signature of ÒP. HermanÓ, Leeds. The substantial movement with cable to the fusees, and with shaped tops to the plates. Case retains nice finish that has been waxed. Included is a bracket that has been custom made out of a C.1840 shelf unit of drawers with a mahogany top, counter sunk to accept the 4 feet of the clock (all nicely done by a good cabinet maker, and it makes an attractive looking unit. Height of clock 16.5Ò, height overall 31 inches
