Description

Condition: Brass case was originally nickel-plated. There are stress cracks on all four corners of the base (a common problem with this model, as the base was not annealed after drawing). The cast ornaments on the lower section of the case are missing. The center of the dial has been replaced. The nickel-plating on the original pendulum has worn off. Movement is signed. Stamped brass base retains original die stamp of Ansonia Clock Co. This was an American companyÕs first attempt to create a crystal regulator. Refer to Ly #277, currently showing 875 dollars.
