Description

Condition: the case has some splits in the front of the door, and evidence of some wood filler. The well made movement strikes the hours and halves on a coiled wire gong mounted to the back plate of the movement. The 4-post movement mount is up on a block, and there are filled holes where the original mount was removed. Still a decorative clock that seems to run OK. Many of these cases were separated from their movements during and after WWII, and although we strive for originality, at least this is a practical combination. Height 40 inches
