Description
Condition: This clock lived near the sea and the case has some discoloration and minor corrosion; Tiffany name on dial is partially rubbed off. The movement was cleaned by horologist ÓJohn Metcalfe, NYÒ in 2000, but the sticker fell off during fotos; runs fine. Aneroid barometer seems to be working as well. This set was first offered in 1929 for 175.00 dollars. The inscription reads, in part: An Inaugural Tribute to Charles W. Dow, President, April 1956. Width = 14Ó, Height 9 inches
