Description
,in overall fine working condition. The wood case measures 36" high and 11" at its widest, with brass eagle finial and brass side arms. 8-day spring movement counts the hour and strikes the half-hour on a wire gong. The silvered dial is generally worn (though easily read), and the numeral 4 and numeral 5 show evidence of some paint retouching. The tablet and throat glasses are in excellent condition and appear to be original. The bezel glass looks to have been replaced as some soldering is evident on the bezel.
