Description

Original finish on this beehive style mahogany case, stands 15" high. Clean throughout, movements, case, and very nice silver dial. The finish is slightly crazed, has never been bothered, original. We rarely see a real nice silver dial, particularily on a Seth Thomas clock. This one is bowed as is the beveled glass. ST hands used on this clock. Quite possibly the only thing changed, improved, on this clock. Two large clocks movements, like those in the Sonora Chime clocks. Time movement is No. 89AM, and the Westminster Chime movement is No. 119, both cleaned and serviced recently, running properly. 4 hammers strike on 4 rods. This has to be the cleanest, most original clock of this type we have seen in a long time. Ly-Seth Thomas, pages 206-223.
