Description

Very beautiful and very unusual. The base of bronze has 6 feet, all with toes. Porcelain pedestal with paintings of flowers and a band of gold. Above the pedestal is anoher bronze piece and then the large piece of porcelain housing the 8 day, time only, clock. It is also heavily painted with flowers and gold. On the sides are lions heads with rings and a bronze pineapple finial on top. Wonderful white porcelain dial, gold French hands, machined sash and bezel, and a beveled glass. Brass solid plate, round movement, balance wheel running freely, signed only "383". The back also has a bronze solid door. Case is 11" high, has no breaks or chips.
