Description
Very nice full label on the back, a label of directions inside, and Kroebers own innovative pendulum which they called, "Jacot's Regulator". Very ingenious way you move a hand-needle, to speed up or slow down the pendulum. 8 day movement with hourly strike on a nickel bell, and alarms on the same bell. The bob is nickel as well as 3 dial rings. New paper on the old dial pan. The clock runs up a storm. Nice walnut case is 21.5" high, some fancy wood work, etched designs, very distinctive, as most Kroeber clocks are. See the Kroeber trade catalog of 1888-1889, page 7.
