Description
The dial has the same finish plus inlaid porcelain cartouche numerals and a large porcelain inner dial that is signed, "Aux Louis d'Or, Puluis Royal". Beveled convex glass in the sash. The theme of the set is evidently musical instruments. The clock is 15" high and the side pieces are 11.5" high. 8 day movement is just like #484, bell strike, unsigned. The strange looking pendulum is stamped, "6262", the same as the movement. It just keeps on running. After being in storage for a few years and still running, probably without oil, he must have been a good repairperson. He had it priced at $750 in his shop.
