Description

I believe the clock is practically all original, including the dial, glass, and weights, even though an enterprising person painted the weights red, and it is very possible the dial was repainted long ago as the undercoat is gray. I have never seen an undercoat on a metal dial of this type. This is a 2 weight, 30 hour brass movement, strike and alarm. Both the alarm and hours strike on an iron bell. Glasses are original. Background has flaked off leaving the basic design on the glass. The 25" walnut case looks pretty good in the front. There are some small chipped places around the base and a scorched place on the bottom right side.
