Description

Painted central section depicting a Spanish style building, mountains. Red and gold accent on the outside columns and top. Unsigned brass movement, strikes hours on a large iron bell, and the detached alarm also sounds on the bell. Brass bezels and dial ring. Patent date of May 10, 1859 stamped on the dial ring. Original paper dial has darkened but looks good with the surroundings. Good label inside the case.
