Manufacturers of High Grade Clocks, to "J.A.Merrill & Co., Inc., Portland, Maine". 8 day lever movement is running just fine. Housed in a metal case, brass plated, with a pop off top. The 6" silver dial is showing wear, so the clock has been used considerably. I checked the movement, it is signed, and so is the dial. There is a pretty good old label on the back. Was this clock shipped in this wood box? Who knows? I would not think the paper shred was the original packing material. This is the way I received it along with all these other clocks-watches, in original cartons.
