8 day movement is striking and runs very well. Bowed glass over the dial. The bezel, dial rings and hands are brass, the hands are slightly different shade of brass, and it is possible they are not a match. Everything else is a beautiful slick walnut veneer over a less expensive base wood. I don't see how they got it so slick. There is a string inlay around the front and sides, plus the carvings under the dial. This is a very big clock 29.5" long and 10.25" high. The Strike-Silent lever is at 9 o'clock and the choice of chimes lever is at 3 o'clock. No label, name, initials, nothing anywhere on the case except a serial number on the movement.
