Description
Does not appear to be real old but I am not sure. Seconds hand in place, clock ran here for 15 days. The large, heavy, brass case is 10.25" in diameter. It is attached to the ships wheel by screws. The ships wheel is 17" in diameter and would appear to be older than the clock. The back of the brass case is marked, "4909". The bezel hinge is on the left, a hinge strap and hook eye are on the right side where an actual padlock could be used. Perhaps the chain on the right may have something to do with the lock. This is a big, heavy clock with a hanger secured to the top.
