Description
Original gold ormolu finish is still very very good. No breaks or repairs, case stands 13.25" high. I don't know whose bust is on the top finial, but it isn't Bertha. That may be Bertha reclining at the bottom. Excellent 2 piece porcelain dial, open escapement, original hands, slow-fast adjuster at the top moves the needle between the wind arbors to show slow-fast adjustments made. Rocco sash, brass rings, beveled glass, original pendulum hangs down just above the cupid. Complete, original, running. 8 day movement is signed, shows patent date, strikes half hours on a small brass bell. Excellent condition and running. Ly-Gilbert, #866.
