Description

Cherry case stands 22.5" high, retains the original finish, now with a deep brown-red color. The case has no missing pieces. Half columns, carved or pressed ornaments, deep grooves around the door, top, and base. Label on the back is about 80% there. The movement is 8 day, cathedral gong strike, original pendulum with wood rod, original dial and hands, running and striking but dirty. The dial has been worked on by an aspiring artist and is barely passable. I would have it repainted and while the dial is away I would cut 2 new pieces of glass. These were cut and installed poorly. This is a nice clock with a lot of potential if you will take care of the dial and glasses. Ly-Gilbert #1161.
