Description

Possibly their best mantle clock, 25" walnut case with cut glass mirror panels on the sides and base. Panel on the left is broken near the middle with a small piece missing. All glass panels have lost a fraction of their backing. An outstanding door glass with birds and flowers. The walnut case has been refinished professionally and remains a very attractive clock. The biggest fault I see is the replaced paper dial. There is a good paper label on the back, now protected by plastic. Large glass mirror pendulum with leaf decorations. This 8 day clock strikes a cathedral gong and alarms on a brass bell. The small brass door latch is missing. Ly-Gilbert, page 293.
