Description
This is a very good looking walnut cased clock that stands a whopping 36.5" high. The beautiful case was refinished long ago; it is polished to fit in with your other expensive antique furniture. The metal has been polished, movement recently serviced. The old dial is exceptionally nice for the age. There were just a few tiny paint chips around the winding arbor and a place on the inner dial about the size of a quarter, all have been professionally repaired and you can hardly see the repairs. The movement is 8 day, strikes a cathedral gong on the hours. Runs very strong. The accessories, bob, gong base, dial ring, all nickel plated. An old repair label on the back dated 1909. Overall a very nice clock. Ly-Waterbury #1542.
