Description
This is the largest cast brass cased Seth Thomas we have ever seen, the case is 14" in diameter, the dial plate 12" (11" to reflector). The very heavy brass case has a hinged bezel with key lock and key (don't lose the key). It has run here for 2 weeks as I write this, but I am unsure whether it goes for a month or just the 2 weeks; movement is double spring timepiece, with seconds bit. The original silvered brass dial bears the Seth Thomas name and large Arabic numerals; the minute hand is counter weighted. Overall excellent condition. Height 14 inches
