Description

The refinished rosewood veneered case is excellent, with just a little roughness on the back edges of the top and the tips of the two front finials a little shorter than the rear. The top is perfect, as you usually come across these areas with some damage. The original painted dial is a little faded and movement is signed by the maker. The lower area of the label is missing some paper, but is still in fair condition, and enough remains to see the Forestville and J.C. Brown name. Top glass is original with orig putty; bottom etched & cut glass is antique, but may be from another clock. A very nice example. Height 20 inches
